STEFFAN FETZNER
Interview Taken During Guangzhou World Team Table Tennis Championships 2008

Mario Genovese has known Steffan Fetzner for the past 24 years. Meeting him again during the Guangzhou Championships, Mario took the occasion to interview Steffan for the benefit of Table Tennis in Malta specifically by gaining more insight into opportunities for our youth and TTA students.
Steffan Fetzner's greatest game in terms of overall performace and table tennis glory was winning the Men World Doubles Championships in Dortmund '89 in front a packed and overfilled stadium.
The subjects covered during the interview were mainly:
o Youth Development in teritiary countries and developing countries.
o The protocol formation for developing countries through bilateral agrements with developed countries.
o The Aspire School of excellence in Qatar and mode of operation.
o The influx of new developments and their full interaction with the old school methodology.
o The footsteps of a new generation of simulative table tennis programming.
